Ember has a new look, and a new friend. Meet Ember, the fox who holds your shield while you focus.
Why a fox?
Most app blockers feel like parental controls: cold, strict and easy to ignore the moment temptation shows up. We wanted focus to feel more like having company. Ember sits by the campfire while you work, cheers you on when you finish, and gently asks if you’re sure when you try to quit early.
What Ember does
- Keeps your shield up. Block distracting apps, categories and websites in one tap with Apple Screen Time.
- Talks the way you like. Choose a cozy friend or a straight-talking coach, and change it any time.
- Grows a cozy den. Every focus session builds your streak and levels up Ember’s den.
- Shows your progress. Weekly charts, badges and recent sessions live in Insights.
- Stops you before you quit. With Locked Mode (Premium), ending a session early comes with a short pause.
Ember tip: start with one 25 minute session on the app that costs you the most time. Small wins build the streak.
Still private
Nothing about Ember changes how your data is handled. Ember uses Apple’s Screen Time technology on your device, and we never see which apps you use. There are no ads and no tracking.
